Historic and Architectural Resources Inventory, Phase 3, South Windsor, Connecticut

Heritage Resources and FuturePast Preservation. 2015. Historic and Architectural Resources Inventory, Phase 3, South Windsor, Connecticut. Town of South Windsor, Connecticut. South Windsor, Connecticut

This inventory was funded by a 2015 Historic Preservation Fund Grant to the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development (grant number P15AF00196) and a sub-grant to the Town of South Windsor, Connecticut (project number CT-15-02). South Windsor, Connecticut is a Certified Local Government. From introduction: "In the spring of 2012, the South Windsor Historic District Commission applied for, and received, a grant from the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office for the preparation of a Historic Resources Inventory. This report contains the results of the study, the town’s third such inventory, prepared between May and October 2012, and March 2014 and August 2015. The expectation was that this survey would enrich the town’s historical record and supplement the body of information compiled during the Phase I and Phase II inventories, conducted in May 2006 and February 2011, respectively. This project, Phase III, added over 130 buildings towards the South Windsor Historic District Commission’s final goal of documenting all of the historically significant resources in town."
