Funding for a historic resource survey of downtown Midway -- and the booklet and interactive tour created using its findings -- was provided in part through a 2013 Historic Preservation Fund grant to Utah State History (grant number P13AF00160) and a sub-grant to the City of Midway, Utah (project number UT-13-018). This funding also provided for the creation of an interactive tour of Midway, presented by the local Historic Preservation Committee, that features a map with points of interest (http://www.historicmidwayutah.org). Pictures, histories and site descriptions are provided for 80 historic buildings and numerous businesses via the map. A total of 246 buildings were surveyed within the historic city center as part of the historic resource survey. Midway, Utah is a Certified Local Government.
