In 2015, M.N. Gilbert Environmental was contracted by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to conduct 2016 presence/absence surveys for Northeastern Bulrush (Scirpus ancistrochaetus) on current land holdings of Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge (CVNWR) and potential refuge acquisition parcels. In addition to S. ancistrochaetus (“SA”), other incidental state listed species encountered during the field surveys were be documented as appropriate. Potential sites on DEWA lands were also surveyed.
