This inventory was funded in part by a 2012 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Louisiana State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 22-12-41925) and a subgrant to the City of New Roads, Louisiana (project number LA-12-015). Funding allowed the City of New Roads to hire a consultant to conduct a historic resources survey of the city's structures. Survey information was entered into an electronic database.
