ABSTRACT: Descriptions of three new species of troglobitic asellids from Tennessee (Asellus incurvus, A. circulus, and A. scyphus) are presented. The distribution, relationships, ecology, and zoogeography of these three species are discussed, and a mechanism for the probable origin and dispersal of these asellids is offered. A range extension for A. nortoni is given and its reassignment to the Cannulus group is postulated
