Population genetics and scale of gene flow in Cyanea pilosa and Clermontia parviflora in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Research Permit and Reporting System
Small leaf samples were collected from 40 mapped individuals of Cyanea pilosa ssp. longipedunculata in the Ola`a Tract of HAVO and genotyped using ddRAD-Seq. We found low levels of genetic diversity (He = 0.138 and π(all) = 0.0012), moderately high levels of inbreeding (F = 0.182), and no significant change in genetic identity with distance (Hardy and Vekeman Sp = -0.002).
