Lynn SR and Gardner KK. Gallatin River Task Force Community Water Quality Monitoring Program. Research Permit and Reporting System

The Gallatin River Task Force Community Water Quality Monitoring Program (CWQMP) assesses water quality issues uncovered by the Upper Gallatin Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) assessments. The Task Force monitors water quality at sixteen sites on Gallatin River, Taylor Fork, and streams within the West Fork Watershed. Data from the CWQMP will allow Task Force and the Big Sky community to monitor for the successes/failures of restoration efforts, and to track any trends or episodic events.
