Collect and formally describe a species new to science of an undescribed species of Noctuidae (Lepidoptera) found in Guadalupe Mountains National Park Main Investigator: Metzler, Eric. Research Permit and Reporting System
Sixty four samples were collected at Dog Canyon and Ship-on-Desert in the Park. One specimen of the target species was collected on a privately owned ranch, the Magby Ranch, about 2 miles north of Dog Canyon in extreme southern New Mexico. A manuscript was prepared, and it will be submitted as soon as the DNA bar code is received from the Smithsonian.
