During the summer of 2016, archeological survey and testing were performed within Kijik Archeological District National Historic Landmark. The activities were conducted under the terms of a cooperative agreement between the National Park Service (NPS) and the Nondalton Tribal Council (NPS Agreement No. P13AC01206), and comprised an “add on” third field season to what was initially scoped as a two-year project covered by the agreement.
