Lichens New to Tennessee

ABSTRACT: Forty-three state records are reported from Tennessee, 15 of which are new to the Great Smoky Mountains. The ranges of nine northern species are extended to the Southern Appalachian Region. Literature concerning lichenology in Tennessee is summarized.
