From the history and description section: "The property now known as the Mallory-Neely house located at 652 Adam Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee has been home to five families over the years before it was given to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), and Children of the American Revolution (CAR) by the decedents of the Mrs. Frances "Daisy" Neely Mallory in 197i. This property saw the growth of Memphis, along with the rise and fall of cotton and agriculture as the predominant economic force of the region. This portion of Adams Avenue, now known as Victorian Village, was known as Millionaire's Row during the late Victorian Period. This name came from the large number of homes owned by the city's wealthy citizens." Funding was provided in part through a fiscal year 2014 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the City of Memphis (project number TN-14-040) administered by the Tennessee State Historic Preservation Office (grant number P14AF00085) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior. Memphis, Tennessee is a Certified Local Government.
