Scott R. 2012. Building Conditions Report, November 2012, Final Report: Royal Hotel, Amite, Louisiana. Foundation for Historical Louisiana; Louisiana State Historic Preservation Office. Amite, Louisiana

From introduction: "The Royal Hotel Historic Building Conditions Report assesses the current conditions of the buildings located at the Amite, LA -Royal Hotel site,113 NW Central Avenue. The report next reviews the repair/rehabilitation needs of the buildings on the site. The report also helps prioritize the repairs to the buildings that will guide the rehabilitation as funds become available. Finally, the report also includes a description of types of financial funding and Louisiana State Income Tax Credits incentives program for rehabilitation... The real estate ownership of this property and buildings was researched by the owners. The architectural/historical documentation and designation was also researched for this report. The entire building was measured/photographed and reviewed physically. A set of current floor plans was produced. The building conditions were documented and a scope of work was developed to address repair and rehabilitation needs. This scope of work was then prioritized by the owners for the publication." Funding for this project was provided in part through a fiscal year 2012 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Foundation for Historical Louisiana (project number LA-12-010) administered by the Louisiana State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 22-12-41925) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
