From documentation: "The Silco Theater is a historic urban context theater, with storefront and theater entry fronting historic downtown Bullard Street. The theater structure is an integral part of an uninterrupted solid street edge of historic buildings spanning Bullard Street, between Market Street and Yankee Street. Typifying the era of historic downtown urban context theaters built between the 1920's and 1950's." Funding for this project was provided in part through a fiscal year 2013 Historic Preservation Fund grant to Silver City Main Street (project number NM-13-024) administered by the New Mexico State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 35-13-51938) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
