Short-term water level logger deployments at Assateague Island National Seashore, Fire Island National Seashore, and Gateway National Recreation Area-Sandy Hook Unit

Rasmussen SA and Neil AJ. 2017. Short-term water level logger deployments at Assateague Island National Seashore, Fire Island National Seashore, and Gateway National Recreation Area-Sandy Hook Unit

Zipped file contains a dataset of raw water level data (6min) which has been corrected to remove atmospheric pressure and provides the depth of water above the Seabird pressure sensor (in m). This was done using the Seasoft for Waves software that comes with the sensor. This data is also converted to NAVD88 elevations following surveys of the Seabird logger housing with Trimble RTK equipment over this time period. QA/QC reports using Aquarius software have also been included. In addition, calculation of Tidal datums such as Mean High Water (MHW) and Mean Low Water (MLW) are also calculated via Aquarius.
