This one-sheet, three-fold brochure on the oldest building in University City, Missouri was produced as part of a broader project to create a long-term strategic plan for the renovation and maintenance of the historic Sutter-Meyer farmhouse located in University City, Missouri. The goal of the brochure was to make city residents more aware of the history of the Sutter-Meyer farmhouse, while the ultimate goal of the Sutter-Meyer Society, which produced the brochure, was to make the farmhouse into a community based museum and education center. Project funding was provided in part by a 2008 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the City of University City (project number MO-08-017) administered by the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 29-08-21730) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior. University City, Missouri is a Certified Local Government.
