From the brochure: "Finding the roots of your Oak Park home and the land it sits on is real detective work. Research can be as involved as you want it to be. When you decide to look into your property’s history, here’s what you may find: Who has owned the property through the years. Who has lived in the house and information about their families and businesses. What the property was worth from time to time. Who constructed the house — the owner, the architect, the builder. You may even find photographs of the exterior and interior of your house." Project funding was provided in part by a 2004 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Village of Oak Park (project number IL-04-094) administered by the Illinois State Historic Preservation Office (grant number 17-04-19314) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
