Fly By Night, Inc was hired to conduct a bat inventory of VIIS, BUIS, and SARI in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Fly by Night used a number of different survey methods including mist or harp nets, the use of Anabat bat detector systems during night surveys, and visually inspecting potential roost sites along with a scent-trained dog to aid in the search for bat evidence. Surveys were conducted from February 2003 - July 2007, but additional Anabat files from previous efforts (Jim Petterson) in 1997 were also included. As Fly By Night did not submit a final database or report for this survey, SFCN attempted to summarize the methods and results based on interim summary reports and the Anabat file results. This spreadsheet represents an export of cleanly identified Anabat observations from the U.S. Virgin Islands.
