From abstract: "This Intensive Survey and Evaluation of Downtown Cedar Falls was funded by a Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant awarded to the Cedar Falls Historic Preservation Commission and Cedar Falls Main Street in 2014. A total of 110 buildings were inventoried within the project survey area. Of the total 110 properties, 37 had been previously inventoried. All of the properties were evaluated and/or re-­evaluated for the current study for contributing or non-contributing status in a commercial district and/or individual eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places." Project funding was provided in part by a 2014 Historic Preservation Fund grant to the City of Cedar Falls (project number IA-14-040) administered by the Iowa State Historic Preservation Office (grant number P14AF00106) and the State, Tribal, and Local Plans and Grants Division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior. Cedar Falls, Iowa is a Certified Local Government.
