From introduction: "The purpose of this report is to present the results of assessment the historic building known as the Norton House located in Yuma Arizona. The purpose of the inspection was to assess the condition of the building and establish the significance and integrity of each individual building element... In addition to documenting the current condition of the building and building elements, the assessment also outlines priorities of action required to preserve, restore, stabilize and/or rehabilitate each element. Included with the inspection report is a summary of the building's significance - theme(s), significant dates of construction and modification, principal participants in the course of the building's construction and use, and general description. Reference floor plans and photographs of the over-all building and component parts are included to contribute to the understanding of the building. Element by element forms describe each building part and evaluate the following factors: 1) Significance or Character Defining Element (CDE); 2) Treatment Option; 3) Quantity (where appropriate); 4) Integrity and/or condition; 5) Source of Deterioration; 6) Treatment Method; 7) Priority; and 8) Treatment Impact.
