This document is the post-fire Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) accomplishment report for the for the Broomsedge Burn at Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park. The purpose of BAER is to determine the need and prescribe treatments to minimize threats to life or property or to stabilize and prevent further unacceptable degradation to natural and cultural resources resulting from the effects of a fire. Natural recovery is preferable.
