This document is the post-fire Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) plan for the Kipuka Pepeaio Fire Burned Area Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The purposes of BAER plans are to determine the needs and prescribe treatments to minimize threats to life or property or to stabilize and prevent further unacceptable degradation to natural and cultural resources resulting from the effects of a fire. Natural recovery is preferable.
