The National Park Service Great Lakes Inventory and Monitoring Network (Network) is implementing an amphibian monitoring protocol at national park units across the Great Lakes region based on automated acoustic monitoring. Implementation began in 2013 with three parks participating by selecting 10 sites and deploying an Automated Recording Unit (ARS) at each site per the approved protocol. ARSs were Song Meters manufactured by Wildlife Acoustics, Inc. (970 Sudbury Road, Concord, MA 01742-4939). This report provides the first annual summary results for the program.
