This study is still underway. The initial part of the study has been completed. Samples were collected from hawksbill females and their hatchlings during 2015 by NPS staff coordinators. The samples were shipped to La Jolla, California in January 2017. They have been archived and inventoried and added to the NOAA - Southwest Fisheries Science Center Project List for the Fall of 2017. The attached files describe the work performed so far and the inventory file that is stored in the NOAA database.
