Historic Structures Report: Part III, Architectural Data Section on Adams Mansion, Adams National Historic Site

Carroll OW. 1967. Historic Structures Report: Part III, Architectural Data Section on Adams Mansion, Adams National Historic Site. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Quincy, Massachusetts

This completion report covers a portion of construction work that was completed by contract between September 1966 and January 1967 on the Adams Mansion. While a bulk of the contract cost involved the structural reinforcement of floor areas, work also involved the replacement of floor boards and wooden trim pieces that were removed during a prior architectural investigation, which was necessary for the Part II, Architectural Data Section. The report contains a description of the work that was done in several areas of the Adams Mansion under the terms of the contract. This is accompanied by illustrations and work drawings.
