Mary Louise Newcomer Moore gives an oral history interview on her experiences growing up in Harpers Ferry in the early 1900s. Moore is the granddaughter of the first president of Storer College Nathan Brackett and several of her family members worked as staff members at the college including her grandmother, Louise Brackett, her aunt, Lura Brackett Lightner, her father, Reverend J.C. Newcomer, and her mother, Celeste Brackett Newcomer.
