This document is a final report submitted by Dr. William D. Pearson, Professor of Biology, University of Louisville. The document contains six sections which include introduction, methods and material, results and discussion, conclusions and recommendation as well as literature cited, tables and appendices. Between 1993 and 1996 a long term monitoring plan for the aquatic communities of Mammoth Cave was developed by Pearson and Jones (1998). One of the goals of this document was to demonstrate the survey techniques and routes to Park Service Personnel, and assure that the survey protocols were comparable between the years 1993-95 and when it was conducted in 2001-2005.
