Report of the Third Session of Exploratory Archeological Excavations Conducted at the U.S. Rifle Works, Lower Hall Island
Larrabee EM. 1962. Report of the Third Session of Exploratory Archeological Excavations Conducted at the U.S. Rifle Works, Lower Hall Island
The purpose of this work in 1961 was to establish the shape and limits of Hall's island as far as possible, and to tie these scattered findings into one cohesive picture. The information discovered is restricted to the retaining and fencing walls of Lower Hall Island, the canal and locks, the bridges, the railroad and its supporting structures, and other things related to the size and shape of the island.
