Physical, chemical, and biological conditions were compared between mid-lake limnetic and near-shore littoral habitats in Veterans Lake, Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Water temperature, conductivity, pH, total dissolved solids were compared at different depths at the mid-lake location, and between the mid-lake and near-shore habitats. Zooplankton composition was also compared by depth at the mid-lake location, and overall between the mid-lake and near-shore habitats.
