Avian Surveys of Fort Chaplin and Fort Mahan

Fort Mahan and Fort Chaplin were surveyed twenty-two times from October 2016 to September 2017 to inventory avifauna utilizing these parks. A total of 3,505 birds were identified. Eighty-three species (18 SGCN) were recorded at Fort Mahan. Sixty-seven species (11 SGCN) were recorded at Fort Chaplin.
