An inventory of fish species of the Little Missouri River was conducted in August of 2017. This survey is a continuation of sampling done by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that dates back to 1997. The primary goal of this survey is to monitor existing species richness, species abundance, and to identify a long term trend in data that could be used to assess future changes of the river. During the four day sampling period, a total of 22 sites were used to collect data.
