Armstrong T. Status report for Investigating the use of abandoned mines by wildlife 2017. Research Permit and Reporting System

We set a total of 10 cameras at abandoned mines within the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve (GSDNPP) in 2017. As of the date of this report, we have no data on wildlife use of the mines within the GSDNPP. We have not checked any of the cameras in the GSDNPP for activity. We plan to begin checking cameras in May, 2018. This research project is ongoing and is scheduled to continue until at least the fall of 2019.
