Radicinol Analogs from the Freshwater Aquatic Fungus Xylomyces chlamydosporus

Hosoe T, Gloer JB, Raja H, Shearer CA. 2010. Radicinol Analogs from the Freshwater Aquatic Fungus Xylomyces chlamydosporus. Mycotoxins. 60(1):1-6

ABSTRACT: Chemical investigations of the freshwater aquatic fungus Xylomyces chlamydosporus H58-1 have afforded a new radicinol derivative (1) and (2S, 3S)-3,7-dihydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-chroman-4-one (2), along with the known radicinol derivatives 3-6, and radicinin derivatives 7 and 8. The structures of these metabolites were assigned by analysis of 1D and 2D NMR data.
