I spent a single day in Mojave National Preserve in the Kelso Dunes area looking for sticky plants. I think I was too early for peak bloom and unfortunately, I was unable to return due to other commitments. I found Alliciella latifolia, a Gilia sp., and Abronia villosa, but was unable to find Tripterocalyx carneus. I did not find any insects of note on them. I collected no specimens for deposition, per instructions.
