The purpose of this study is to record vessel fragments recently washed ashore on the northern banks of Assateague Island using Photogrammetry, a modern program that uses photography to create three-dimensional models of the subject matter. This project is an exercise in expediency, with the goal of using photogrammetry to record hull structures before they are picked apart by tourists or return to the sea. Could field photogrammetry be an applicable method of gathering data on historic wrecks?
