This completion report provides documentation for the stabilization of Outer Island Lightstation at Apostle Islands National Seashore (HS-22-105A, HS-22-104B, HS-22-104C), for the day labor work order. Stabilization work was started in October 1976 and completed in September 1977 under project supervisors Ray Kunkel and John Ochman. This report provides the cost of the stabilization work, a narrative description of the work, and copies of photographs. Stabilization work at this time was conducted on the lighthouse, light tower, generator building, and magazine. The lighthouse and generator building were reroofed. The exterior trim was painted, deteriorated windows replaced, and shutters installed. Other work included tuckpointing, whitewashing, installation of Lexan in the tower, and correction of drainage around the site.
