Common Loon Survey July 7, 2017 Lake Ozette: Biologists Michaelis, Murphie, Desimone, Ament & volunteers Horton & Roberson. Mostly clouds, few sun breaks & light winds. Ament heard loon 0515, 4 adult loons flying at 0725, Murphie observed 4 adult loons on water 0700. 6 adult common observed on lake during boat survey. 1 adult common loon & 1 adult red-throated loon flying over lake.
