Hartgen Archeological Associates, Inc. (Hartgen) conducted a Phase IB archeological reconnaissance survey for the proposed Saratoga National Historical Park Rehabilitation of Tour Road Wayside Exhibit System and Accessibility Improvements (Project) located in the Town of Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York. This Project is being undertaken by the National Park Service. This archeological reconnaissance survey was conducted to comply with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The investigation was conducted according to the New York Archaeological Council’s Standards for Cultural Resource Investigations and the Curation of Archaeological Collections (1994), which are endorsed by New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP). This report has been prepared according to OPRHP’s State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) Phase I Archaeological Report Format Requirements (2005).
