In 2017, working under Permit # REDW-2015-SCI-0019, to understand the effects of riparian thinning on headwater streams we measured riparian shade, light, and stream temperature, and sampled stream-riparian food webs in the Middle Fork of Lost Man Creek in Redwood National Park. Here we describe our activity during the 2017 field season. Now that pre-treatment and initial post-treatment data have been collected, we are hoping to continue our post-treatment monitoring into 2018 to understand if
