Exploratory Survey of Chihuahuan Desert Bees at Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Research Permit and Reporting System

The project "Exploratory Survey of Chihuahuan Desert Bees at Guadalupe Mountains National Park" was an initial effort to survey the rich bee fauna of the Chihuahuan Desert with an emphasis on National Park Service managed areas. The research team extensively sampled the desert during trips in March, May, July-September, and a less intensive trip in October. The survey efforts resulted in the collection of approximately 1,900 specimens of bees as well as smaller numbers of other floral visitors.
