Lichen BioBlitz at Great Basin National Park. Research Permit and Reporting System
Lichens were collected at a BioBlitz held during summer 2017 in GBNP. Specimens collected during the BioBlitz were intended to expand the species list for the park that was created by PI Kropp under his first research permit (see attached file for a list of lichen species and locations for GBNP). Five additional species were added to the list after the BioBlitz bringing the total known number of lichen species at GBNP to 129. More species may be added as other BioBlitz participants file reports.
