An account of the cruise of the "Emily E. Johnson" which departed Baltimore on May 5, 1883 en route to the Bahamas. Cuba, and the Florida Keys (including Dry Tortugas). The participants were primarily students and faculty of the University of Iowa. The trip concluded back in Baltimore on July 26, 1893.
