This project has two components, with the first component providing a background for the second component. One component of this project is to examine the different segments of the major rivers in GTNP and identify the reaches for the Snake River above Jackson Lake, Buffalo Fork and Pacific Creek. The second component of this research project is to determine the spatial ecology of river beavers. Is there a relationship between river reach characteristics and river beaver movement.
