ABSTRACT: Two natural darter hybrids in the genus Etheostoma are described. The combinations include E. tippecanoe x E. camurum and E. rufdineatum x E. caeruleum. The hybrids are generally intermediate in morphology and pigmentation. Both cases of hybridization are attributed to accidental cross-fertilization resulting from the simul- taneous spawning of the parental species close to each other.
