ABSTRACT: The genus Pararchytas is revised. A new species is described, A. apache (type locality: New Mexico, Grant Co., Cherry Creek campground, 14 mi. N of Silver City, 7400 feet). A lectotype is designated for Tachina decisa Walker. A key to the three known species, diagnostic descriptions, distribution maps, and illustrations are provided.
