This report covers the fifth consecutive year of monitoring Mexican spotted owl (Strix occidentalis lucida) breeding territories in the Jemez Mountains, NM. Trends in occupancy rates are determined by comparing current findings with information from as far back as 1979. Reproductive productivity is compared to average rabbit and mouse counts along nearby transects. Includes one page of recommendations for management.
