The Lees Ferry fishery is a cold tailwater fishery in the Colorado River located below Glen Canyon Dam, Arizona, which is managed for Rainbow Trout. The Arizona Game and Fish Department has been monitoring the Lees Ferry fishery irregularly from 1963 to 1990. Standardized monitoring began in 1991. Currently we utilize two approaches for monitoring the fishery, boat electrofishing and angler surveys. Boat electrofishing occurs three times a year (spring, summer, and autumn), while angler surveys
