The purpose of this SOP is to describe the procedures necessary to navigate to survey locations by using handheld GPS receivers. Information on GPS specifications and settings are also included. This SOP is not intended as a substitute user’s guide for GPS units. Please consult the appropriate user’s guide for more detailed information on unit functionality.
