Hughes JD, DeVivo JC, Witcher BD. 2018. Long-term continuous water-quality monitoring at Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and Obed Wild and Scenic River: Quality assurance plan. Natural Resource Report. NPS/APHN/NRR—2018/1720. National Park Service. Fort Collins, Colorado

In accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Park Service Inventory and Monitoring Division, the Appalachian Highlands Inventory and Monitoring Network (APHN) created a quality-assurance plan in the implementation of the Long-Term Continuous Water-Quality Monitoring at Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (BISO) and Obed Wild and Scenic River (OBRI): Protocol Narrative (Hughes et al. 2018). This quality-assurance plan documents the standards, policies, and procedures used by the network for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, and publication of monitoring data. The policies and procedures documented in this quality-assurance plan for activities complement the quality-assurance plans for other monitoring activities conducted by the Appalachian Highlands Network and supplement the National Inventory and Monitoring Division Quality Management Plan (in prep).
