Threat vulnerability evaluation of nonnative species in tributaries of Lake Michigan. Research Permit and Reporting System
The Lake Michigan basin represents an important aquatic habitat for Northwest Indiana. The tributary watersheds form the primary connection for many Great Lake fishes and are particularly important to conserving and restoring regional native species diversity. A survey of the crayfish and fish assemblages were sampled using a random grid design as an early warning of spatial variation in introduced and invasive species composition and abundance in the tributaries of Lake Michigan within Indiana.
