Bryophyte Inventory at Devils Tower National Monument. Research Permit and Reporting System
Survey of the bryophyte flora of DTNM and inventory the diversity of species present in all accessible habitats within the Monument. Bryophyte distribution and conservation status are not well known in eastern Wyoming. This project would expand our current knowledge of the bryophyte flora, with the potential that they include management indicator species and species that are rare from state or regional perspectives. Specimens will be collected, identified and deposited at the National Park
